What Is a BioScan? A BioScan is a gentle, non-invasive wellness assessment that helps us better understand what’s going on in your body. Using advanced biofeedback technology, the BioScan reads your body’s natural responses to identify potential areas of stress or imbalance. How It Works: During the session, a sensor measures your body’s energetic responses—similar to how a fitness tracker monitors your vitals. It helps us see how your body is reacting to things like: Food sensitivities Environmental stressors Organ function Nutritional imbalances Energy flow (similar to acupuncture meridians) Why We Recommend It: The BioScan allows us to personalize your herbal and wellness plan more effectively by showing us where your body may need extra support. It’s a great tool for getting to the root of chronic issues and tracking your progress over time. 🕒 If added to your consultation, please allow up to 2 hours total for the full session (BioScan is available in-office only). ❓BioScan FAQ Q: Is the BioScan painful or invasive? A: Not at all. The BioScan is completely non-invasive and painless. It uses external sensors to measure your body's energetic responses—no needles or pricking involved. Q: How long does it take? A: When combined with your full consultation, please allow up to 2 hours total. This gives us enough time for both the BioScan and an in-depth discussion of your results and wellness plan. Q: Can I do the BioScan online? A: The BioScan is only available in person at our Upland office. For online consultations, we provide in-depth herbal assessments without the scan. Q: Do I need to prepare for it? A: No special prep is needed. Just come as you are. We recommend being well-hydrated and avoiding heavy perfumes or lotions before your session. Q: Will I receive results the same day? A: Yes! We review your BioScan results with you during the appointment and use them to help shape your customized wellness recommendations. Q: Is it covered by FSA or HSA? A: Yes, we accept FSA and HSA cards for eligible services, including the BioScan.
